Sheikh Qassem: US drawing Lebanon's legal course is an insult

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Wednesday that the US is exerting pressure on Lebanon to hold the elections on the basis of the 1960’s electoral law, adding that such a thing is an insult.

During the launching ceremony of a book in Mays el-Jabal, Sheikh Qassem said that the party that wants the 1960’s electoral law has been accustomed to the idea of dominance, calling on all concerned persons to agree on a fair electoral law.

On another note, Sheikh Qassem said that Israel is a "rogue entity" based on rampant acts of terrorism and the blatant daily oppression imposed on the Palestinian people.
