Minister Jreissati: A full concept for the retirement system has been drafted

Labor Minister Salim Jreissati said on Friday that there is no wage policy in Lebanon.

During the opening of a seminar organized by the General Workers' Union on correcting the pay scale and protecting the purchasing ability organized, Minister Jreissati announced the drafting of a full concept for the retirement system and economic protection.

Jreissati said that the agreement between the Cabinet and the UCC from one side and the General Workers' Union from another side on correcting wages should be met adding that wages should be proportional with the rise of prices and the increasing cost of living.
