Shehayeb: We must fund the STL

MP Akram Shehayeb stressed the importance of funding the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, calling on the government to overcome all the small political equations as the Tribunal will end the series of assassinations which remain unpunished.

Shehayeb, representing the Head of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblat at a ceremonial event in Ramlieh, mentioned that if the government refuses to pay Lebanon’s share of the STL, it will not only impact the tribunal but also hinder the development of a just state as everyone is aware of the current critical political and economic situation in the country.
