Disagreement over timing of Lebanese Army deployment south of Litani River in negotiations

Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, citing informed sources, reported that one of the key sticking points in ongoing negotiations concerns the timing of the Lebanese Army's deployment south of the Litani River.

According to the report, the United States has urged the rapid deployment of the Lebanese Army in the area, including establishing checkpoints. However, signals from Lebanon indicate that such a deployment may not occur as quickly as Washington has requested.
