LAF Command arrests Jordanian national on charges of abduction
         
Following thorough investigations conducted by its intelligence, the Lebanese Armed Forces’ Command - Orientation Directorate announced on Monday that it has arrested one of the key accomplices in the abduction of Lebanese national Amer Abou Chahine in the region of Dors, Bekaa on the 27th of March 2013.       

In the details, the Directorate added that the accused is a Jordanian national identified as Mahmoud Ahmad Islilia who confessed that he was an accomplice in the incident, noting that he held contacts with the victim's family in order to obtain a ransom.       

It is worth noting that the accused also confessed that he is affiliated to a number of mobs, adding that he used to traffic drugs in Beirut.          

Investigations are underway to reveal whether he committed other crimes.
