MP Jumblatt slams Damascus' explosion

Progressive Socialist party leader MP Walid Jumblatt slammed on Wednesday the "terrorist explosions which rocked the Syrian capital of Damascus", saying that targeting civilians is unacceptable on all levels.

MP Jumblatt urges the international community to be firm while dealing with the current bloodshed taking place in Syria, noting the necessity of helping the Syrian opposition to topple the current regime.

MP Jumblatt also wired the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs William Hague offering condolences for the death of former UK Prime Minister Margarete Thatcher.
