Shura Council rejects draft decree on wage adjustment
The Shura council issued a decision on Thursday in which it rejected the draft decree to increase the minimum wage.

The Shura Council stressed that “reconsidering the minimum wage increase should be done legally at least once a year.”

The decree was criticized for not including workers earning more than 1,800,000 LBP per month while high cost of living is a realistic issue that concerns all workers.
