Abbas Ibrahim mulls solution to oil tank trucks with Syrian officials

Following the two meetings held by General Security Chief Abbas Ibrahim with a delegation from Bekaa and Wadi Khaled, he held talks on Wednesday with Syrian security officials in Damascus whereby the officials brokered a solution to the crossing of oil tank trucks through the al-Masnaa highway.

In the details, the officials have decided that oil tank trucks should be allowed to cross toward the Syrian territories (for today), provided they return to the Lebanese territories by Thursday.

Oil tank trucks crossing to Syria have have been subject to several attacks in light of the raging war taking place in Syria.
