President Joseph Aoun departs for Jordan on official visit

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun departed Beirut on Tuesday morning, heading to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in response to an official invitation extended by Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.

During his visit, President Aoun is scheduled to hold a summit meeting with King Abdullah II, followed by expanded talks between the official delegations of Lebanon and Jordan.

The discussions will focus on bilateral relations and current regional developments.
