MP Arslan calls on PM-Designate Salam to cooperate with Speaker Berri

Head of Lebanese Democratic Party, MP Talal Arslan, expressed his hope on Sunday regarding the formation of a national unity cabinet that gathers members from all political parties in order to maintain Lebanon’s internal stability, economy and security.

In this regard, MP Arsaln said that Speaker Nabih Berri has great experience and was able to maintain Lebanon’s stability throughout different stages calling on Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam to cooperate with Speaker Berri regarding the formation of the cabinet.

As for the security situation on the Lebanese-Syrian borders, MP Arslan said that this issue is mainly related to constitutional institutions adding that the borders are not controlled and arms are being smuggled.
