National and Islamist forces call on LAF to protect Hermel

National and Islamist forces held a meeting on Saturday in Hermel whereby they slammed the shelling targeting the region, noting that the incidents taking place in Hermel aim at “distracting Hezbollah from standing against Israel”.

In this context, the aforementioned forces called on the Lebanese Armed Forces to take all needed measures in order to protect the region and its residents.

It is worth noting that the shelling on Hermel targeted on April 22 a building where a dozen Syrian refugees live, adding that the public and private schools closed their doors since the beginning of the Hermel incidents.
