Social media users circulated on Tuesday 2 pictures of the Imam of Bilal bin Rabbah mosque Sheikh Ahmad Assir sitting on a tank belonging to the Free Syrian Army in Qussair, with his son Abdel Rahman present amongst a number of fighters in the region.         

Assir confirmed to LBCI that he had been to Qussair in Syria and had returned to Lebanon.      

Sheikh Assir called for Jihad and the support of the residents of Qussair a few days back, as a response to Hezbollah's participation in the clashes, as per his words.
