Geagea: The state has lost all its prestige

Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea held a televised speech on Wednesday on the occasion of the LF Students Day whereby he tackled several topics related to the party and its current status quo among the Lebanese populace.

Geagea called on the Lebanese Youths to join the ranks of the Lebanese Forces in order to "work for a better future" stressing that “the state has lost all its prestige”.

"To all those envious of our party we say, stop all the attacks."

"The Turkish power ship Fatmagül Sultan is indicative of the failure of the Lebanese institutions."

In response to the speech delivered by the Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Geagea said that although Hezbollah supports the Syrian regime, they cannot change the history.

As for the electoral law, Geagea said that whomever is directly or indirectly impeding the ratification of a new electoral law is committing a 'great sin' against Lebanon and its people.
