Ain Ebel denies evacuation reports, urges residents to ignore rumors

The municipality of Ain Ebel said reports circulating about an evacuation order for the town are false.

In a statement, local officials clarified that, as a precaution, the only measure under consideration is for residents to move from the northern part of the town to the southern section for safety, not to leave Ain Ebel altogether.

The municipality urged residents not to spread rumors and to rely solely on official information. It reaffirmed its stance, saying: “We remain on our land and steadfast.”
