Former LF partisans committee requests interference in LBCI's lawsuit

Former Lebanese Forces partisans committee represented by its President Joe Edde and Vice-President Elie Aswad submitted on Thursday before the Judge of Urgent Matters at the Beirut Tribunal, Jad Maalouf, a request to interfere in the lawsuit filed by the Lebanese Forces against the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI) and its head of the board of directors Pierre Daher.

In this context, Elie Aswad appeared at the court on behalf of those who requested the intervention, Lawyer Naoum Farah on behalf of LBCI and CEO Pierre Daher, while Lebanese Forces attorney Najib Liyan did not appear before the court.

It is worth mentioning that the lawsuit filed by the Lebanese Forces does not mean the handing over of the corporation's administration to a judicial receiver.

It only states the carrying out of an inventory of assets and the hand over of the corporation's real-estate deeds until the final ruling.
