Hezbollah decries attacks on religious shrines

Hezbollah condemned on Friday the vandalizing of the grave of Prophet Mohammad’s companion, Hujr Ibn Adi Al-Kindi in the region of Adra near Damascus.

Hezbollah issued a statement in this regard in which it raised the following question: "Where is the Syrian opposition which claimed it wanted to protect sanctuaries and vowed to defend shrines and religious locations?”

Hezbollah also raised its concerns over the ongoing attacks on Muslim and Christian shrines saying they reveal "the criminal mentality of the perpetrators."
