Former ISF leader Rifi voices concern over potential explosions

The former head of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF), Major General Ashraf Rifi said on Saturday that Hezbollah committed a "major sin" due to its military involvement in Syria, and voiced his concern over the exacerbation of the Sunni-Shiite conflict in this regard.

It is worth noting that Rifi held a meeting with Future bloc officials in Australia where he stressed that foreign parties have ensured that the situation in Lebanon will not be exacerbated, expressing on the other hand his fear over potential blasts due to the raging sectarian conflict in the country.

On another note, Rifi noted that he had advised Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri to leave Lebanon after he was informed about plots being prepared to assassinate him.
