Meeting between FPM, Kataeb bloc, tackles constitutional amendment

A meeting was held on Thursday between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Kataeb bloc in the Finance and Budget Committee's office in Nejmeh square.

In the details, the meeting tackled the suggestion submitted by the Kataeb bloc to introduce an amendment to the constitution's preamble by adding a paragraph that stipulates the policy of dissociation.

Well-informed sources reported that a delegation from the Kataeb bloc MPs will be heading on Friday to meet with Speaker Nabih Berri in order to discuss the aforementioned issue further on.
