President Aoun: Signing MoU with Egypt to meet Lebanon’s natural gas needs

President Joseph Aoun received Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi.

Aoun said, “The signing of a memorandum of understanding with Egypt to meet Lebanon’s natural gas needs will ensure the capacity to increase electricity production.”

Minister Badawi noted that “Egypt will provide full support to Lebanon through expertise and capabilities in several fields, including the exploration, extraction, transport, and distribution of gas.”
