Syria hands over Wael Abbas to Lebanese authorities

Syrian Authorities arrested Wael Abbas, the man accused of kidnapping the seven Estonians, and handed him over to the Lebanese General Security on the Masnaa as he was trying to flee into Syrian territories.

The hand over took place near Al-Masnaa area along the Lebanese-Syrian borders.

The LAF cordoned off the area and imposed tight security measures as Abbas was transferred to Beirut.
