MP Gemayel: Speaker Berri's proposal may bring solution to the crisis

Kataeb Party leader MP Amine Gemayel met on Thursday with Prime Minister-Designate Tammam Salam in Msaytbeh.

Following the meeting, MP Gemayel said that Speaker Nabih Berri's proposal may a bring solution to the pending issues in the country, adding that the party supports any suggestions that guarantee Lebanon's unity.

MP Gemayel added that he urged PM-Designate Salam to form the new government "as soon as possible", reiterating the party's support in carrying out this task.

He also highlighted the importance of finding an electoral draft law that "fulfills the ambitions of all Lebanese factions."

MP Boutros Harb also paid a visit to Prime Minister-Designate Salam in Msaytbeh and left without making any statement.
