Dispute flares in Dahiye, leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

A personal dispute flared early on Friday in the region of Hay al-Sellom in the Southern Suburbs of Beirut between members of al-Fadel family and al-Mokdad clan members.

An exchange of gunfire erupted between the two groups who reported used light caliber weapons and machine guns.

Citizen Rami Hassan Mokdad, 33, succumbed to his wounds, while Mohamad Ahmad Fadel and Hussein Ahmad Fadel were rushed to al-Rasoul al-Aazam Hospital for treatment in the wake of the street violence.
