President Sleiman meets with LAF Commander Kahwagi

President Michel Sleiman met on Tuesday with Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwagi at the Baabda Palace.

Discussions featured high on the security situation in Tripoli and the procedures adopted by the LAF to restore law and order in the city.

President Sleiman also held talks with Saudi Arabia ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Asiri over bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.

On another note, President Sleiman met with Russian ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zaspikin and discussed with him the bilateral relations and the ongoing preparations for Geneva 2 conference.
