Israeli army says forces deployed across a 10-kilometer security zone inside South Lebanon

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said Israeli forces are deployed across "a security zone" extending about 10 kilometers inside Lebanese territory.

In a statement accompanied by a map outlining the area of operations in South Lebanon, Adraee said the deployment was based on "operational needs."

According to the statement, Israeli troops remain active inside the designated zone in South Lebanon as military operations continue along the border area.
