LAF Chief Jean Qahwaji, UN envoy Derek Plumbly discuss cooperation

Lebanese Army Chief, General Jean Qahwaji, met Friday at his office in Yarze with the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Derek Plumbly, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The pair reportedly discussed the means to bolster cooperation between the military institution and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

Talks also touched on the current general situation.
