MP Jumblatt condemns the killing of Hashem Salman

Leader of the National Struggle Front MP Walid Jumblatt strongly condemned the incident that took place yesterday (Sunday) near the Iranian embassy, claiming the life of citizen Hashem Salman.

In this context, MP Jumblatt said “the assailants could be related to Iran's Revolutionary Guards or to their allies [Hezbollah],” calling for a swift investigation and the subsequent arrest of those involved.
In his weekly statement to al-Anbaa Newspaper, Jumblatt pointed out that the judiciary and military bodies should assume their responsibilities and reveal the identity of the perpetrators.

On another note, the PSP leader rejected media outlets claiming that he will not hold further contacts with the Future bloc, stressing that various contacts are being held with the bloc.

MP Jumblatt added in this regard that he held a meeting with Saad Hariri's adviser Nader Hariri whereby they tackled local and regional developments as well as several outstanding files.
