Aoun: we can discuss the STL at the UN

The Free Patriotic Movement member MP Alain Aoun said that the government should discuss the Special Tribunal for Lebanon’s funding the upcoming weeks in order to take a clear stance and a decision towards it.

“We can vote on it [STL] in the cabinet, or we can go further than that, we can try to discuss the STL and its branches and framework at the United Nations in order to redirect its path from a judicial point of view”, Aoun was quoted as saying.

Aoun warned the current government from committing the same mistakes as the previous one especially with the draft budget and monetary fund, adding that unless all rumors the current government did not crossed its budget for 2011.
