Aoun: Hariri can say whatever he wants

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun said that the student elections in universities are nothing but an electoral game, adding that there was a sweeping victory for the Change and Reform bloc at Université Saint-Joseph (USJ), as the bloc closed the gap by 50% compared to last year’s results.

Following his bloc’s weekly meeting in Rabieh, Aoun said that “Saad Hariri can say whatever he wants, but statements not backed up by actions are worthless.”

Aoun warned that Palestinian resettlement aims at expelling Christians, adding that the U.S. used to think it was capable of solving all the problems of the world until it was faced with direct wars.

Aoun stressed that the crisis in Syria is over, wondering “do they want to occupy Syria?”
