Sleiman holds contacts with Kahwaji, discusses attacks on Bekaa

The Lebanese Armed Forces Commander Jean Kahwaji held contacts on Thursday with President Michel Sleiman whereby he briefed him on the details of the attacks that targeted the town of Bekaa, mainly the regions on the border with Syria, and tackled the means to respond to sources of fire.

Separately, President Sleiman met with caretaker Finance Minister Mohamad Safadi at the Baabda Palace, and discussed the work currently undertaken by the Ministry as well as the need to correct some wrongdoings in the wage scale series before referring it to parliament.

It is worth noting that Sleiman also met with Judge Samir Hammoud, the Head of the Audit Court, Judge Aouni Ramadan and General Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi.
