DIY Christmas decoration

Not only "Do It Yourself" Christmas decoration is highly affordable but it's also Eco-friendly! Turning trash into treasures has never been easier and with enough awareness we can re-purpose almost everything we have around the house.

Here are a few ideas we compiled!


The mysterious land of lost socks:

We have all been through the dilemma of "where's the other pair"?! Well... I guess we'll never really know! 
But why throw the other sock while we can reuse it and morph it into a marvelous Christmas ornament!

You can easily turn your socks into Christmas snow people. All you need are socks, cotton or any other filling of your choice, some threads, buttons, glue and a pair of scissors!



Organic ornaments!

Fruits make a wonderful decoration and if used right give out a beautiful scent around the house!
Take for example the Orange and cloves tree ornament! An easy to create ball of scent and beauty, just take an orange , some cloves and a toothpick. Pick the orange where you would like to insert the clove and repeat until you have enough of them around the orange. Hang it on the tree or make a few and throw them in a bowl on your dining table!




Newspapers wrapping:

Whether on Christmas or during any other occasion, newspapers can be reused in a million different ways!
Don't throw your old or slightly broken Christmas tree hangings; you can rehabilitate them by gluing newspaper pieces around them and throwing some glitter.
As for the gift wrapping, it has never been more green! Why buy new wrapping paper while you can use your old newspapers and have them look trendy.




Cinnamon candle rolls:

Cinnamon Sticks , bows and various size non scented candles! Glue the sticks onto the candle, add a bow and a few buttons or basically whatever ornament leftover you have, et voila! The best scented Christmas candles at your table.
