So who are the Playboy models that captured the attention of so many throughout the years and what becomes of those once they leave the profession to become mothers, housewives or successful entrepreneurs?

All the women in the photos below, who went on to become journalists, real-estate agents, entrepreneurs, and sexagenarian nude models say the Playmate title gave them a sense of confidence that seems more of a prelude to the sexual freedom of third-wave feminists than linked to the degradation and objectification that their contemporaries saw in the magazine.
