The silent video you are about to watch depicts the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the year 1920 while still under French mandate.
 
The video shows different places of the city of Beirut such as Nejmeh Square, the Grand Serail, the Port of Beirut, and the Justice Palace.
 
It also shows a number of markets in the capital as well as the Raouche rock and the tramway station.
