The world’s largest plane, the Antonov An-225 Mriya, has touched down in Perth.
Tens of thousands of enthusiasts gathered in and around the airport to witness the 84-metre-long aircraft fly into western Australia.
The plane picked up its cargo in Prague and stopped at locations in the Middle East and Asia on its way to Australia.
It transported a power generator from the Czech Republic for a Western Australia state mine site.
The Antonov An-225 Mriya weighs 175 tonnes without cargo or fuel, when fully loaded and crewed it can hold up to 600 tonnes.
