REPORT: Thousands flee fighting in Syria into Turkey
The Syrian Kurdish YPG militia said on Saturday it began an advance towards an Islamic State-held town at the Turkish border, thrusting deeper into the jihadists' stronghold of Raqqa province in a campaign backed by US-led air strikes. 

Meanwhile, Turkish authorities stated that thousands of people have already fled across its border to escape fighting between the YPG and Islamic State near Tel Abyad.
