Washington puts Samir Kuntar on its terrorism blacklist
The United States of America has designated Lebanese activist Samir Kuntar as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist. “
 
Kuntar was serving a full life sentence in Israel’s prison on charges of murdering two Israeli nationals in 1979.
 
He was then released in 2008 as part of a prisoner exchange deal.
 
As a result of the said designation, all property subject to U.S. jurisdiction in which Kuntar has any interest is blocked and U.S. persons are prohibited from engaging in any transactions with him or to his benefit.
