Iran denies “categorically” any connection between Iran and man accused of attempting to murder Rushdie

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani "categorically" denied any connection between Iran and the perpetrator of the attack against British writer Salman Rushdie during a conference in the northern United States.

During his weekly news conference, Kanaani stressed that no one has the right to accuse the Islamic Republic.
