Israel proposes 'option' to extend truce with Hamas

The Israeli government announced on Monday that it presented an "option" to the Hamas movement to extend the truce in Gaza, scheduled to end on Tuesday morning, according to an Israeli government spokesperson. 

The government spokesperson, Eylon Levy, told reporters, "We want to receive an additional 50 hostages beyond tonight, on our way to repatriating everyone."
