Turkish official: Blinken to visit Ankara for talks with counterpart Fidan on Friday

A Turkish official stated on Wednesday that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is scheduled to visit Ankara on Friday to meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

The two ministers are expected to discuss the situation in Syria following the swift ousting of President Bashar al-Assad in a sudden opposition offensive.
