[VIDEO] Elephants Rush To Help Friend Who Falls During Dangerous Circus Stunt

In a dangerous trick, where an elephant was forces to climb atop a pyramid of stools for a circus in Belarus, the large animal tripped and fell in the middle of the performance, leading his fellow captives to rush for his aid.

A video from the incident shows the elephant falling about six feet down and landing on his side, barely avoiding the audience in the front row.

Also in the video, two other elephants standing just outside the center ring were seen rushing into the arena to check on their friend.

According to Belarus media, the elephant was injured, but he will soon be made to perform again in the circus.

This incident highlights the dangers faced by animals, especially elephants, who are forced to engage in unnatural performances, not to mention the shocking and horrible practices behind the scenes, in terms of abuse and intimidation.

Meanwhile, a growing number of nations and local municipalities have outlawed such practices in light of animal welfare concerns.
