REPORT: Dahieh residents hold up Minister Charbel at blast scene

Shortly after the explosion that rocked a stronghold of Hezbollah, south of the Lebanese capital, setting several cars on fire and injuring 53 persons, Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel arrived to the scene where he said that a Sunni-Shiite strife is the goal behind this explosion.   

Popular masses gathered at the scene of the blast hoisting posters of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah; thus, holding up Minister Charbel in the region for a short period of time before Hezbollah members worked on opening the road for his convoy to leave.                             

This report will shed light on the explosion that rocked the Beirut Southern suburbs region of Bir al-Abed as well as the anger of residents who held up minister Charbel in the region.
