REPORT: Gap widens between Mufti Qabbani and his opponents

The gap is widening between Grand Mufti Mohammad Rashid Qabbani and his opponents at the Higher Islamic Council.

This comes as more than 85 persons opposing Mufti Qabbani signed a petition that stipulates suspending the latter’s work and ending his term as a Grand Mufti.

This report will shed light on the discrepancies between Grand Mufti Qabbani and his opponents regarding the leadership of the Dar el-Fatwa.
