REPORT: Sheikh Ahmad Assir releases new voice recording

The radical Sunni cleric Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir who disappeared during a shootout with the Lebanese army in the coastal city of Sidon released on Monday a new audio recording in which he targets various Lebanese officials and military personnel.                   

In the recording, Sheikh Assir attacks the Secretary General of Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, House Speaker Nabih Berri, Change and Reform Bloc Leader MP Michel Aoun, Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Chief Commander of the Rangers Regiment Brigadier General Chamel Roukoz, National Struggle Front Leader MP Walid Jumblatt, and Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea.                      

This report will shed light on the new voice recording of Sheikh Ahmad Assir as well as accusations he raised against Lebanese officials.
