REPORT: Popular Rabbi Mordechai Elon guilty of sexual misconduct

Judicial sources reported that prominent Zionist Orthodox former yeshiva head Rabbi Mordechai Elon, 53, was convicted in Jerusalem of indecent assault against a minor.

Elon could be sentenced to serve as much as seven years in prison.
