REPORT: Tripoli defends its sea shore

Civil society activists staged a movement in the northern city of Tripoli to express their rejection to a planned project that may require excavation works that will harm Tripoli’s sea shore.

Accordingly, the city’s residents staged a sit-in outside the municipality building to exert pressure in order to protect the maritime environment.
