REPORT: Israel kicks off preparations to face strike against Syria

Israel continued its preparations aiming at facing any possible retaliatory missile strikes carried out by Syria, by bringing military reinforcements along the northern borders and transferring hundreds of regular army soldiers and calling up reserve troops to join offensive military units in the northern regions.

In this context, Israel chose the regions of Safed in the Upper Galilee and Marj Ibn Amer in the outskirts of Nazareth to set up two Iron Dome defense systems, while the Patriot Missile and Arrow systems were placed in the south and the center.
