REPORT: Cybercrime and IP Bureau works with limited power

The Cybercrime and Intellectual Property Bureau is not protected by a specialized law that organizes its obligations and prerogatives. The Bureau works upon a request from the judiciary, and accordingly summons people for investigations and sends reports to the concerned judicial authorities.

Amid the absence of a specialized law, who guarantees that the Cybercrime and IP Bureau does not have the right to practice surveillance over the citizens and access their electronic privacy?
