REPORT: Residents protest conversion of school to Syrian refugees home

Residents of the southern town of Lebaa and neighboring regions staged on Tuesday a sit-in at the entrance of Al Hadara College which had been recently transformed into a home for Syrian refugees.

The residents voiced their rejection to the aforementioned step since "it threatens the region's way of life".

This as the Union of Municipalities of Jezzine issued a statement whereby it vowed to participate in demonstrations in order to settle the problem.
