REPORT: Geagea fails to attend interrogation session at Judicial Palace

Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea was expected to attend on Monday an interrogation session at the Judicial Palace on the backdrop of a defamation lawsuit filed against him.

However, the session was deferred until the 11th of November since Geagea failed to attend.

Attorney Elie Aswad, representing LF Veterans Joe Eddeh, Joseph Zayek, and Hanna Attik said the mentioned lawsuit was filed after LF chief Geagea accused the veterans in April 2012 of espionage, adding that "the postponement of today's session is an attempt to buy time".

This report will shed light on the lawsuit filed against Geagea in light of his televised speech broadcast in April.
