REPORT: What is polonium that scientists say was found in Arafat’s body?

Swiss scientists confirmed that Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat ingested lethal radioactive polonium before his death nine years ago and had high levels of it in his body that could not have been accidental.

This report will examine the origin of the chemical element polonium and its radioactive effects.
