REPORT: Father Sarrouj returns to his burnt library

Father Ibrahim Sarrouj walked across the old streets of Tripoli surrounded by his Christian and Muslim supporters who gathered in order to express their condemnation of the act of burning the al-Saeh Library.

According to Father Sarrouj's supporters, one’s religious affiliation is not important, since the library is a cultural heritage for all the city’s residents, noting that targeting such symbol tarnishes the image of Tripoli as the city of culture.
